Veteran actress Angela Lansbury is set to appear in the new Mary Poppins sequel, Mary Poppins Returns that is now in production.
Angela Lansbury had won five Tony Award in the past, and she has three Academy Award nominations.
"Mary Poppins" is directed and produced by Rob Marshall and stars Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Colin Firth, Pixie Davies, Nathanael Saleh and newcomer Joel Dawson. Lansbury was also given an honorary award for her long-standing brilliance in film.
The movie is now filming at Shepperton Studios in London.

Mary Poppins Returns is poppin' in all the right ways. Oscar nominee Lin-Manuel Miranda ("Moana") plays street lamplighter Jack while three-time Oscar champ and current contender Meryl Streep ("Florence Foster Jenkins") takes on the role of Poppins' insane cousin Topsy. The character appeared in many of author P.L. Travers' Mary Poppins stories.
