Breath of the Wild, there are myriad important mechanics and concepts that the game never explains outright.
This year's Game Developer's Conference (GDC) is happening in San Francisco right now, and the team behind the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gave a talk where they showed off some of the work that went into making the game.
Be wary, there are potential spoilers ahead. No doubt as players dig into Breath of the Wild, and we get even more experiences from the series, we'll continue to see imaginative cosplay.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has received a new update today, and just in time for its official launch on the Nintendo Switch tomorrow, March 3.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is shaping up for a grand release. These expansions will bring new challenges, dungeons and more.
"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a masterclass in open-world design and a watershed game that reinvents a 30-year-old franchise", wrote IGN's Jose Otero, conveniently ignoring that Nintendo's Switch is made entirely of conflict minerals and orphan skin. Just from the videos, it also looks like we'll be seeing some races we hadn't for awhile, the one I'm most excited about are the Gerudo who haven't been in a Zelda game (not counting the main villain, Ganondorf) since "Majora's Mask" was released in 2000.
Kansas City Chiefs: Jamaal Charles Has Been Released by Team
But what made it uniquely Charles was that only a few people, fans of the Chiefs and in this case the Saints, saw it happen. Then, after breaking into the clear, Charles used his sprinter's speed to outrun a couple of defenders to the end zone.
So imagine 1-2-Switch in the party setting that Nintendo have envisaged throughout their pre-launch trailers.
The actual journey to the game has been quite long.
Forbes, 10/10: The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild isn't just the best Zelda game I've ever played. But in an open world full of big changes, Breath of the Wild also nearly always feels like a Zelda game - and establishes itself as the first current, vital-feeling Zelda in nearly 20 years. Plus, this will be the first game not only with multiple solutions to puzzles, but also a true open-world and even DLC.
Epona has been a recurring companion of Link's for almost 20 years, though she hasn't made an appearance in every Zelda title since Ocarina of Time. Link is customizable with many weapons and attires to choose from unlike the other Zelda titles where there were only a couple of weapons and armor sets to play around with. "Breath of the Wild is an exciting game for its incredible landscapes and how, with minimum instruction, you're allowed to find your footing as you go".
This is all taking place in the best-looking Zelda world ever, too, which naturally adds to the experience.
