TAIPEI – China’s military flew 56 sorties close to Taiwan. This included flights by twelve bombers from the early hours of Monday morning. The streak intensified in recent days after the arrival of an armada east the island, which consisted of ships from four countries, the U.S.A., U.K., and other nations.
The People’s Liberation Army flight, which included J -16 fighter jets and Y-8 sub-spotting aircraft tracked 93 military sorties in the three previous days according to Taiwan’s Defense Ministry. This ministry tracks PLA activity near the island every day.
