U.S. to Share Nuclear Submarine Technology With Australia in New Pact

*) WASHINGTON–In the Indo-Pacific, the U.S. and Australia have created a security partnership to strengthen their mutually beneficial alliance. This is to help Australia build its own nuclear-powered submarine capability as China grows in power.

The new arrangement was announced by the leaders of all three countries on Wednesday as an attempt to align their common interests in Asia Pacific.
